The smashing looking hero of Malayalam industry took the Tamil tinsel world by a storm. Prithviraj not only sets the heartbeats racing in Kerala but also in its Tamil counterpart.

Prithviraj is on cloud nine for he is a part of Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavana’, sharing space with big time actors like Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Vikram apart from Priyamani. He is happy that he also has bagged the Tamil version of his Malayalam Superhit, ‘Classmates’. ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ will have him playing the lead role as in the original version, along with Karthik Kumar and Sakthi. In this he is paired opposite to Priyamani, with whom he had acted before in Malayalam.

Having acting in the original, Prithivraj had tried suggesting the director Kumar to maintain the essence of the Malayalam version. He had argued several times with him on finding the remake’s screen play and characterisation quite different from the earlier one. But as they say the director will have the last word, Kumar went on with his changes and kept only the basic concept of the original version.

After ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ Prithviraj has V. Priya’s ‘Cheri’ in Tamil. Then he will share screen with actor Srikanth in ‘Police Police’, a bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil.

Way to go Prithvi!
